In Another World
You open your eyes
And wake up from a dream
You wonder to mark
That the world is so dark
And you still remember
How it just has been
You could see a land
Could go and understand
In another world
Was something that counts
In another world
You knew what counts
In another world
That is it what counts
In another world
You open your eyes
And wake up from a dream
And you still remember
How it just has been
(Solo)
In another world
Was something that counts
In another world
You knew what counts
In another world
That is it what counts
In another world
This song for free on Jamendo.
This song bases on a small but exquisite melody from Achim, which sounds a bit unreal, just not quite of this world. With Bernies brilliant prog keys I can listen for hours again and again.
Jo
Originally I wrote this song for my other band, Infantile Regression. These guys are more into progressive rock, therefore the strange tune of this melody. Jo's lyrics remind me of the stories of Philip K. Dick. When Jo and me met in the German SF fandom almost 30 years ago, we both loved to read Dick's novels. I think it's amazing that Jo and me are still doing stuff together - back then SF fanzines, today music. Achim
